Can I Get an Amen?

On Sunday we took you to church for the first time. Yes, I know you are four months old. I've been too nervous to try. And, frankly, a bit lazy about the whole thing. But, in talking about your upcoming Baptism, I felt a little bit of that Catholic guilt. And so, off we went to the latest Mass there is on a Sunday morning, 11:00. We sat in the very back row with all the other families with infants. You were so great! While other parents were up and down, in and out, with their little ones, you stared at the lights and stained glass windows, flirted with the older woman (perhaps 15 months old) in the pew behind you, and eventually fell asleep to the organ music. Did I get much out of Sunday's sermon? Nope, couldn't tell you a thing the Priest said. But, I did learn that you can be quiet and still for a whole hour. We'll try it again this week from that very same back row.
