What have you taught me? That I have more patience than I ever thought. How to be selfless. The true meaning of taking things one day at a time. How to love BIG. That you really do change and grow as fast as people said you would. That the best thing in the world might just be holding you while you sleep. Not all babies like pacifiers. That babies don't really "sleep like a baby". That our sprinkler turns on at 3 every morning. Having a clean house isn't nearly as much fun as playing with you. That despite a Masters degree and twelve years experience in childcare, I really don't know much about anything.
