Dear Lovebug,
Awhile ago, I instituted a "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy in regards to your progress, or lack thereof, in the area of sleep (Hours per night, crib use, nap duration, etc.). Today, I am going to violate the policy in order to brag.
When I first began paying attention, you woke up every 2-3 hours at night. This past week you have consistently gone 5-6 hours before waking for your first feeding and 3-4 hours for your next feeding. Mommy really appreciates the time to get in some uninterrupted sleep. Please don't jinx me on this and revert back tonight.
You've also started to sleep the first part of the night in your pack-n-play. It's working so well, I'm afraid to try the crib again. I bet you'd sleep in the pack-n-play the second part of the night too, except that I always fall asleep feeding you and we wake up 3-4 hours later in the same position we began. So really, that one's on me.
As for naps, well, you're still not the napper I'd hoped for. Unless you're in my arms while I walk around, of course. (You should see my growing biceps, little man.) In keeping up with my bragging, you are currently napping in the crib, where you have been for 20 minutes now. That's a success in my eyes. Keep it up, Lovebug!
